Well this week has been crazy! The Boo turned 9 and this involved cutting out countless paper feathers for her and her 19 friends to make into carnival head dresses. Jelly and cakes galore! Not to mention the decibel levels rendering my ears ringing!! (Mental note to oneself- NEVER suggest a carnival themed birthday party EVER again!!) This was followed up pretty smartish, by my first ever book signing at a local school- and amazingly , I sold loads!! The comments from people were so lovely and encouraging, and best of all, the children’s reactions to the book!
And this morning have just packaged up three books as prizes for the Toppsta competition that ran on the 16th Novemebr across Facebook. So off to the Post Office to send them off now!
